tsk tsk!!!

While watching the chavacano (zamboanga) news a while ago and I can't help but feel bad about the happenings here in my beloved city. Contrary to what others may think of Zamboanga, it's not that bad, life here is well and fine. LOL! I've been to several other cities and to be honest I would still choose Zamboanga to be my home. It's just that I feel bad and extremely disappointed. There are things I wanted to do and places I want to explore. You see, Zamboanga is one of the few places in the world to be blessed by a rare pink sand beach-the Sta. Cruz island. But for now, because of the abductions and kidnappings, people are scared to take the 30-minute motorized banka ride to the island. Depressing right? Geezzzz! Aside from Sta. Cruz, the breathtaking Eleven Islands remains unknown to tourists and even locals. The world deserves to see its beauty but sadly it seems that for now, going to those places are just wishful thinking. These bad guys are sooo miserable! DUH!!! when can I possibly do my island hopping? When can I possibly blog about it here???

the "pink-sand island"

The Philippines is blessed to be one of the 8 places in the world with rare Pink Sands. And it can be found at the stretch of beach in the great Sta. Cruz Island in Zamboanga City.

For just a 20-minute motorized banka ride, locals and visitors will arrived Sta. Cruz island. It s indeed a destination here in Zamboanga City, but unfortunately, Sta. Cruz does not yet get the fame and admiration it truly deserve. I hope the local officers will have a concrete plan to develop this magnificent island. It will be worth the risk to visit the western part of Mindanao if you can land your feet in this breathtaking "pink-sand island"...wiNK!!!

I plan to go there with some friends before the year ends, ohhhhh! I'm so looking forward to it.

My internet connection is messing up once again! The broadband sucks, dunno why? I have no choice but to use the dial-up coz if not, i'll be out of coverage area and lost in space. I haven't done any blog visits, hopping and walking. It's hard for me to do this now, it took me 48 years to load a page! GRRRRR! And it will take me 100 years to catch an opp...huhuhuhu! What the heck is happening to the service provider? Grrrr...I want to explode! OA..haha!

Anyways, as what you've already know, there is a current chaos here in mindanao. To make the long story short, 2 bombs explode last night here in zamboanga city. The first one is in downtown area and the other is on a hotel near the airport. We've been receiving all this text msg now, that those "people" will attact the city, they've already do so with the nearby provinces. Just see the news.

Oh well, life must go on...hehe! We have to be extra careful and vigilant. Mamang told us to be ready and prepared. So right now I have my balutan na, just incase..hehe! Hayyy kung unsa man, ang laptop akong kargahon arun ka blog ra gihapon ko....toinkz!

"The Mummy", I've been so excited to watch it on the big screen. We decided to watch it yesterday, me and my friends. But I am so disappointed!!! Grrrrrrr! Our plan was cancelled. Not because of personal choices but because of the disgusting threat we have now here in my beloved city!!! The bomb threats, saying that "these people" will attack here and there are like buzzing bees. We are used to these kinda news and threats, after all that's life here in Zamboanga. But it's different this time, it's something more serious..hehe! Our parents, I mean except mamang and papang who allowed me to go to the cinema, I was the only one among my friends who were permitted,LOL! Warnings are all over, and since we are obedient children, we cancelled our movie date. HUHUHU! I feel so sad! But we cannot afford not to watch "the mummy", so memet bought a dvd...LOLOLOL! Yeah, the pirates have it already,hehe! It was fine, except for we couldn't understand much of what the actors are saying, you know, sound effects..hmmmm, nosebleed diay to kay english,LOL! Atleast we still saw it yesterday...haaaayyyy! Kalaguta jud ba uy!

zamboanga update

I've been seeing so many deportees from Malaysia here in Zamboanga now. It's in the news all the time. Filipinos without legal papers in Malaysia are being deported back to the Philippines, and since Zamboanga is the nearest port of entry, it's seems that our city is flooded with people already,LOL! The deportees are actually from LuzViMinda, but they don't want to go back home because they still want to go back abroad. Their means of living and basically their life are all there. The sad part is that, there are so many children also being deported. Without their parents and families. The news said that their parents may have legal documents, but the kids are aliens in malaysia so they are thrown over here. The local government takes care of these children now in the mean time. Sure there will still be much more deportees. More batches to come. I feel sorry for them. I hope that there will be possitive updates regarding these problem.

Time check.. 10:30 pm here in Zamboanga. It's cold, dark and raining here right now, but I'm still wide awake facing my computer screen and waiting for some miracles,LOLOL! Wala, nag atang rako ug opps..hehe! Anywayz, my pAp is behind me watching Dalja's Spring. A very funny korean drama about a 34 year-old woman without a love life. Why am I even talking about this nonsense things, wala lang jud siguro ko'y mahimo mao nga nag buot-buot nalang ko...LOLOLOL!

I want to sleep now. My bed is tempting me so much! I love it when it's raining during evenings. The sound of raindrops and the cold wind is just so perfect for a good night sleep. Szzzzzz!!!!!
Pero buhi paman akong kalag! Naaahh!.. gilamok nako diri,LOL!

It's now 3:00 p.m here and I'm starving,LOL! There are really days when I feel like I'm always craving for food. Right now, all I want is to have my big bowl of SATTI. Do you know what is it? Satti is one of the famous delicacies here in Zamboanga. My relatives from other places never fail to have a taste of it whenever they come here to visit. Satti is kinda weird actually. Imagine a bowl filled with red hot sauce,(and sauce mura na syag sabaw sa kadaghan,hehe) rice and barbecue. Hmmmmm, now I'm starving more!!!

Grrrrrrr! I'm starting to become a monster...I want my satti!!!
