Whether you realized it or not, you are much older than you may think. Biological science tells us that at birth, a woman's ovaries already contain all the ova, or eggs, that she will ever produce. This means that if your mother was 30 years of age at the time of your conception, the egg that eventually became you was already 30 years old.

That probably does not make you feel older, but day by day, you are getting older. Young or old, all of us are aging, and most of us are interested in slowing down that process- if not actually stopping it.

If the first paragraph is true, that means as of the present, am 52 years old biologically speaking lolz! How cool is that? Not quite cool. To be honest am in the state of self-denial that am already 23 years old. Although I still don't see a lot of those laugh lines and wrinkles yet but I've already started my research on how to at least deley them. Like I put milk and calamansi extract on my face, according to mama, that's her dearly loved formula to avoid pimples and wrinkles. I also make sure to apply sunblock whenever I'm out one fine sunny or rainy day. I make sure to drink 8 glasses or more water everyday and try to always eat healthy. Hey, am not vain though lol! Anyway, it doesn't mean that I do not want to grow old, its something all of us can't change and avoid. Well who cares if we add years, we can always feel forever young don't we?

Mui controls Me

Who's Mui? The handsome-looking feline above, that's Mui! Yeah, obviously I love cats, and animals, all of them. Anyway back to Mui, what if I tell you that he controls me. Yes he does! How? For instance, he wakes me up every night in the middle of a beautiful dream just to feed him. I can't just ignore his purr, it's so hard to ignore his purr! I really thought Mui's behavior is kinda weird but as I read the article on how cats control humans, I then know it's so normal!

According to a study, household cats exercise this control with a certain type of urgent-sounding, high-pitch meow. It is even said that there are similarities between cats cry and human infant cries. Cats use such cry to take advantage to humans. Well, now I know why I find it so hard to ignore the so called manipulative meow.

Bottom line is, when it comes to Mui, I just can't complain. Be it for any reason. Either he badly needs to be fed or he just wants to control yours truly, no problem at all. After all he's my baby boy!

cold water = CANCER!

Warning! For those who enjoy drinking cold water or juice or anything cold after a meal, this article would make you change your mind... Read on..

It is nice to have a cup of cold drink after a meal. However, the cold water will solidify the oily stuff that you have just consumed. It will slow down the digestion. Once this 'sludge' reacts with the acid, it will break down, and be absorbed by the intestine faster than the solid food. It will line the intestine. Very soon, this will turn into fats, and lead to cancer. It is best to drink hot soup, HOT TEA or warm water after a meal.

Well, good to know and good for me... I don't drink a glass of water or anything liquid after a meal, only after 20 to 30 minutes. Infairness,... you won't have that super bel-bel, or at least gamay ra...hehe!

Have you ever wondered how does the lead get into the pencil?

A solution of finely ground graphite, clay, and water is forced through a narrow metal tube and comes out looking like a long string of spaghetti. After being dried, cut, and fired in a kiln, the lead is immersed in hot oil and wax. The wood, usually cedar, which is easily sharpened, is sawed into slats-planned and grooved pieces of wood-half a pencil thick. The leads are inserted into the grooves on one slat, and a second slat is glued and pressed on top of the first. When the glue dries, the individual pencil are cut apart. After shaping, sandpapering, painting, and stamping with the manufacturer's trademark and other details, the now seemless pencil is ready for use. Sometimes an eraser is attached to one end.

Which pencil should I use?

To select the pencil you need, note the letters or numbers printed on the side of the pencil. These indicates the degree of hardness or softness. Softer lead leave a darker mark.

HB is a versatile, medium-grade lead.
B denotes softer leads. A number such as 2B or 6B denotes the degree of softness-the higher the number, the softer the lead.
H denotes harder leads. The higher the number-2H, 4H, 6H, and so on-the harder the lead.
F stands for fine point.
