Surely many of us wants to take care of the environment. But damage is done already and it'll take real effort, discipline, and time to see changes. What's your share in saving the planet? I think one great way is conserving water, which we often take for granted. We may not realize it but everyday we're wasting so much water through our toilets and our sinks. In an attempt to educate people about this, the WHO declared the 19th day of November as the World Toilet Day. They want people to learn how to save water, even providing ways to do so. For instance, a devise called Dual Flush toilet conservation kit.
Such dual flush conversion kit will turn your toilet into a dual flush, thus enhancing the performance of your old ones. It acts like a low flow toilets, even saving more water than costly HET toilets. Think of it, if an average person flushes a toilet about 2,500 times a year, upon using this device, he and his family can actually save 49 gallons of water a day or a swimming pool of water in a year! That's enough to support crops and farms isn't it? Imagine how it can help a lot of people all over. If you want to find out more about the Dual Flush device and where you can get it, just click the links.

a pendant

One of the nicest things in blogging is that I get to thank merchants for the good job they're doing. If I have to, I would even applaud them for coming up with products that benefited me a lot. For that, let me spread good words concerning Quantum Scalar Energy Pendant, a not so ordinary necklace father bought a few months ago. By the way, (this isn't a paid post LOL!) if you may know.
Alright, so I was such a wimp lately, feeling tired, sick and exhausted the whole day. I'm kinda used to it, blaming on being asthmatic. But apparently my lazy, sick days are because of the computer. Being online most of the time has taken its toll on me, back-pain and migraines are what am having. So I asked the father to lend me his pendant, still skeptical of its health benefits though. But after using it for a couple of days, I've noticed my energy improved. I'm more focus, alert, relax, I mean it it feels right!
So in case you bump into this pendant, I say you should try it. It works for me, pretty well. ^_^
Here's more about Quantum Scalar Energy Pendant...
It is made from natural minerals that are fused and structurally bonded together at a molecular level. It produces scalar energy that helps to enhance the body’s biofield. Quantum Scalar Energy Pendant promotes positive flow of energy and helps to maintain energy balance. It helps to restore energy that has become weak in the body. By restoring the energy balance in the body this pendant helps one to maintain health and well-being. Thus it...
Reduces inflammation
Enhances blood circulation
Enhances immune and endocrine systems
Enhances cellular nutrition and detoxification
Enhances cellular permeability
Increases energy
Has the ability to destroy viruses and bacteria
Helps to protect DNA from damage
Helps to retard the aging process
Helps to fight cancer cells
Strengthens the body’s bio-field
Preventing electro-magnetic waves from affecting one’s health
Increases focus and concentration
International and local celebrities has been spotted wearing it. To name a few are Scott Smith, Zidov Akuma, Michael V., Ogie Alcasid, Rhian Ramos, Boy Abunda, Alvin Patrimonio, and Nadine Samonte.

ABCD...
They say that a person's handwriting says much about his/her personality. Would you agree? I'm not a believer with this kind of stuff but just in case you wanna know what your penmanship tells about you, here's what Did you know dot com have to say about it... ^_^
If letters slant to the left: Indicates introspection and a lot of emotional control.
If letter slant to the right: Reveals a person who's outgoing, friendly, impulsive, and emotionally open.
If letters are straight up and down: The sign of someone who's ruled by the head, not the heart.
Letters that slant in more than one direction: Indicates versatility and adaptability.
An erratic slant: Usually means a lack of flexibility.
Heavy pressure writing (like you can feel the rib made on the back of the paper): The writer is agitated.
Moderate pressure (the writing is dark, but you can't feel the rib on the other side of the paper): Shows ability to deal with stress.
Light pressure: Indicates someone who seems to take life in stride.
Tiny letters: Indicate the writer is has somewhat low self esteem but is intelligent.
Small letters: The hallmark of quiet, introspective types - they're generally detail-oriented and have good concentration.
Large letters: Sign of a confident, easygoing individual.
Huge letters: Indicate someone who's theatrical, usually loud, and needs to be the center of attention at all times.
Wide letters (their width and height are about the same): The mark of someone who's open and friendly.
Narrow letters: Show someone who's somewhat shy and inhibited but very self-disciplined.
Letters that don't touch: Indicate an impulsive, artistic, sometimes impractical free thinker.
Some letters connecting: Means the writer's personality blends logic and intuition.
All letters making contact: The sign of someone who's highly cautious.
A curved first mark: Shows a person who's traditional and plays by the rules.
A straight beginning stroke: Reveals someone who's rigid and doesn't like being told what to do.
A final stroke straight across: The writer is cautious.
An end mark that curves up: Reveals generosity.
Perfect penmanship: The hallmark of a communicative person.
An indecipherable scrawl: Indicates a person who's secretive, closed-up and likes to keep his thoughts to himself.

12 Things to Always Remember...
and One Thing to Never Forget
and One Thing to Never Forget
Your presence is
a present to the world.
You're unique and
one of a kind.
Your life can be what you
want it to be.
Take the days just one
at a time.
Count your blessings,
not your troubles.
You'll make it through,
whatever comes along.
Within you are so many answers.
Understand, have courage,
be strong.
Realize that it's never too late.
Do ordinary things
in an extraordinary way.
Have health and hope
and happiness.
Take the time to wish,
upon a star.
And don't ever forget...
for even a day...
how very special you are.
a present to the world.
You're unique and
one of a kind.
Your life can be what you
want it to be.
Take the days just one
at a time.
Count your blessings,
not your troubles.

And don't ever forget...
for even a day...
how very special you are.

Smart vs. Globe
I can no longer count how many times I complained about my internet provider. The previous one I had was Smart broadband and yes, I managed to deal with them for more than 2 years. Their connection wasn't that impressive. When it comes to downloads, I'd say they could have been better. Knowing they're the country's number 1 telecommunications company, I expected much from them. But I found myself complaining and frustrated, wishing that someday a better ISP will come my way.
So imagine my happiness when a friend introduced me a new internet option. She told me that it'll beat Smart's features in so many ways. That it's faster, stronger, and way better among all the other broadband companies. That it's the kind of browsing experience I will definitely enjoy and all. And since am desperate to switch, no thinking twice, I ditch Smart and welcomed GLOBE broadband with open arms.
Now, if only I knew. I should have been more skeptical and considered things carefully. I should have been smarter and stick with SMART. The past 3 months that am using their server has been miserable for me. Thinking about my 1 year contract with them makes me sick and furious! Sure you can't blame me. You know how important it is to have a strong internet connection for our online duties. Our blogs depend on it completely! As much as I would like to blog hop and drop ec's, update and stay active, I can't! Believe me, the moment I click your links, the page doesn't load. Lucky for me if I can visit 10 blogs before I get booted, yes, that's how sick it is! When it comes to speed, downloads, uploads, signal and stability, Globe fall short to their promises.
Grrooowwwllll!!!!!!!!! That's it... I've said my piece!

accessoria
Girl's Talk once again and sistah's... it's time to flaunt our dearly loved accessories. Am not into dresses or shoes that much but bling-blings, I love them! Earrings and bangles the most. Especially those huge ones, whooaaa... my weakness! I have several pairs to mix and match, thanks again to my sponsors. People close to me knows I'll drool over them so most of the time they surprise me with one. It pays to be a good girl don't ya think? LOL!
Anyweiz, here they are... mah favorites! I'll go gaga if one of them gets missing...harhar!

1. a gypsy hoop earrings
2. vintage bangle (mom got it like a decade ago! :D)
3. My all time favorite, an over sized button earrings and bracelet. (I made it myself, yei!)
Thanks Ms. Niko Ganda for this weekly meme! ^_^

how the poor live...
One of the nicest story I've read so far, it actually made me a little teary eyed.. T_T

One day, a father of a very wealthy family took his son on a trip to the country with the firm purpose of showing his son how poor people live. They spent a couple of days and nights on the farm of what would be considered a very poor family. On their return from their trip, the father asked his son, "How was the trip?"
"It was great, Dad."
"Did you see how poor people live?" the father asked.
"Oh yeah," said the son.
"So, tell me, what did you learn from the trip?" asked the father.
The son answered, "I saw that we have one dog and they had four. We have a pool that reaches to the middle of our garden, and they have a creek that has no end. We have imported lanterns in our garden, and they have the stars at night. Our patio reaches to the front yard, and they have the whole horizon. We have a small piece of land to live on, and they have fields that go beyond our sight. We have servants who serve us, but they serve others. We buy our food, but they grow theirs. We have walls around our property to protect us; they have friends to protect them."
The boy's father was speechless.
Then his son added, "Thanks, Dad, for showing me how poor we are."

sister's week tag

Be the kind of women that when your feet hit the floor each morning,
The devil says "Oh Crap, She's Up."
Sister, life is too short to wake up with regrets.
So love the people who treat you right.
Love the ones who don't just because you can.
Believe in everything happens for a reason.
If you get a second chance, grab it with both hands.
If it changes your life, let it.
Kiss slowly. Forgive quickly.
God never said life would be easy.
He just promise it would be worth it.
Today is sister's day.
~~~
Hope it's still not too late for this tag but I don't care, am still grabbing it anyway! ^_^
Thanks manang Kurdapya & ate Alf for sharing the LabbyDabby... muaahh!!!
Now am tagging all the ladies in my blogroll. Para sa kapatiran etich!!!
Tuesday spiel
I was in the mall with my cousin the other day, hunting for the little missy's perfect get-up lol! A work-related event requires them to be at their best and since she trust my taste, of course, I helped her did the shopping. I was tired, if it wasn't for the yummy sandwich we had for lunch, the long walk wouldn't be worth it I guess. Kidding aside it was fun! We had the best view at the restaurant and our taste buds were filled, right cousin? LOL! Since she landed her dream job recently, do you think she's suppose to give me a treat? I really think so! And what better way to make me happy than to spend a day at the spa! Yeah, she knows it's the ultimate treat for me.
On a second note, I found this on line shop that sells the widest selection of spa products and spa accessories in very reasonable prices. For those planning to venture out in spa business, this is the right place for you to check out. I'm talking about Spa Shop Direct, it's here you can find all the stuff you need for that one perfect spa. From towels, blankets, couch covers, blankets, beaded hangers, candles, and so much more! They also have these very neat spa uniforms for the staff and salon uniforms as well. Feel free to browse their products and find all that you need, alright?
Anyway, I wish you all a blessed and fun-filled week guys. See you at your blogs!
after Ondoy
I don't know but for the past few days I seem to just neglect my online duties. What's even worst is that it doesn't bother me at all. So I gave myself an ultimatum, this blogger's block or whatever you wish to call it must come to an end, or else this could be a dead link soon.. oh no!
Alright enough about my uncomplicated life, this isn't about me anyway. I just have to say my piece about Ondoy, the storm that blew us away! I lived here in the Southern most tip of the Philippines and the rain showers and strong winds we had here last Saturday, Sept. 26 was nothing compared to what the people in NCR experienced. You've seen the news and the pictures no doubt and words aren't enough to describe the damage, the pain, and the lost Pinoys are goin thru right now. Rich and poor, no material possession was able to save them during the storm. As if I was watching a movie, with heroes and their acts of heroism, authorities and their power, victims and their plots, and countless of hair-raising scenes befalling upon them. But it's no movie definitely! It was the reality that struck us for just a single day. I honestly wish am there now, helping out and doing what I can. Seeing the aftermath leaves me breathless. The woman below was just among the victims in Marikina, one of the hardest hit by the storm.
As of the news this morning, there are 100 plus people reported to be dead. Many others are still missing and many more are still not rescued.
My prayers goes out for them, especially to our many brothers and sisters in faith. Jah will provide escape!
