Sunday spiel...

You guys already know that I've been bugging my father lately to apply for direct TV. Dunno but even my online buddies keeps on telling how good the service and programs are. Well, no need to convince me any further, as much as I would love to but still it depends upon the boss lol! Sissy as well tells me how they enjoy their TV bonding time. She keeps on telling me her favorite international programmings, reality shows, the foodie programs, and yeah, even some educational and child-friendly channels. Grrrr! If only we do have a direcTV as well!

But I guess, this is better for now. If I get to watch more than a hundred channels, all in digital quality and high-definition sounds, tell me would I still have time to blog? Yes, of course! HAHA! I would probably be more connected and in touch with the world. Be more updated to recent news and happenings across the globe, which gives me a bunch of reasons to scribble and blog.. yey!

Oh am pretty sure that most of you are having a good time this weekend. I would definitely have a pleasanter time if I get to watch a movie tonight. Believe me, the last time I saw one was 6 months ago, LOL! I wouldn't be this alienated fellow if we have a directTV my goodness! By the way, heard about directtv.com? A lot loves their fast and quality service, will check this out later, hmmm.. let's see if this is good.

i-nAs-thma ako!

Where have I been the past few days? Well, I was sick, sick with asthma! Remember I told you that am such a wimp lately and I was having a terrible flu. It didn't get any better and has taken its toll on me last wednesday, after I wrote my last post here..hehe! For 48 straight hours I wasn't able to sleep even just for a bit. Mama keeps on saying "Day, paningkamot ug katulog.." I was like, "Ma, mas importante moginhawa kontra matulog!"

Anyway, so we went to my Pediatrician LOLZ! Yes am too old for that but she's my favorite doctor and I just couldn't say goodbye to her, lol! Thanks to the nebulizer, finally was able to breath with not much effort and close my eyes to sleep again. Now am feeling much better, except for minor attacks sometimes.

I miss bloggy! Actually mama still forbids me to stay for hours in front of lappy so should end here na muna. I'll be completely well soon, see you on your blogs and expect my EC as well. Kitakitz!!!

TV rantings!

I'm slightly a couch potato but to be honest, I don't feel like watching TV lately. Am getting irritated with the never-ending life stories of heroes and heroins and even the the national news. Like a wheel that goes round and round, so as their rantings. Hope I can finally make a deal with Papa, I've been bugging him everyday to apply for direct TV lol! But I can't blame him if for being skeptical though. We had cable before but we constantly had problems with the signal and the channels were limited.

But DirectTV is completely different! It has almost 300 local and international channels, more movies, HD and sports programs, family-friendly shows, etc. all of which are digital quality. Compared to cable whose down when the lines are down, direct TV system won't give you such kinda headache.

I'm missing my favorite reality shows big time and I'm so out of tract with my favorite series already. To be honest, I want to be a couch potato again, even just for a day I wanna sit back and relax and have a movie marathon with friends, family, and chips, sodas and beers lolz! aid for granny!

As I watched my grandma do the gardening yesterday, i worried about her. We told her many times before not to do it anymore since she have been complaining, that at times she feels dizzy as she stood up. But we see that she really love to do the gardening, and we don't want to stop her, as she enjoys it so much.

I just came to think, while gardening, what if her blood pressure instantly rise without us watching her? How about other elder people who usually don't have companion around? If they'll slip, and loose consciousness there will be no one to help them, no one to bring them to the hospital or even give them first aid. If this happens, it might be too late when someone find them lying unconscious. These are some life alerts! that elder people are prone to.

Like my grandma some elder people today are still active, we cant stop them from doing things that in a way endanger them. I just worry for some of them that are left alone and unattended most of the time.

But thanks to modern science, we are now equipped with gadgets that would alert us right away in case of life alerts! Fall detectors are made available, which would help us know if our elderly get into any sudden falls. Now, even if we don't see our elderly every now and then we can be relieved that we will be alerted in the instant that our elders get into an accident.

I told you am such a wimp! Yes, I'm stricken by severe colds and sore throat just yesterday, makes me feel so sick and drowsy. Naah, no cause for alarm, not stricken by that famous flu naman..hehe! It's the allergies I have since the day I was born and believe me, I'm super used to it najud! If you would hear me now, like a mad dog barking and a pussy cat sneezing LOLZ!

Goodness! Am so desperate to take a nap a little while ago. Since I'm suppose to watch over my grandma at the hospital tonight, I need to close my eyes even just for a bit. But mind kept on spinning around, I could not catch my sleep. I would probably be the one snoring and sleeping sound later in the hospital. Anyway, since am still not sleepy, why not finish a particular task. And that's what am going to write here for now.
